The odometer is coupled up to the driveline using gears. The
speedometer deflection is dependent on friction in the meter.
Therefore you can not calibrate the odometer, but you can calibrate
the speedometer. Nevertheless you end up with a <small> error
depending of tyre inflation and tyre wear.
