You didnt watch closely enough.
I saw 3 seconds of the show and saw 2 Audis:
an 88(ish) 80 in a crashtest and a pre-83 Audi 5000 getting hit on the
door by a motorcycle at speed, another crashtest.

My guess it was German Govt test footage... Audi would never release
footage for something like this.
