Well, at least we figured out part of it!! :-)
Our next step might be to see how much ground clearance there is (i.e. say... at
the middle of the car, at the B-pillar). I *think* there'll be a difference
there...
I just measured mine, and it is 7.5 inches at the B-pillar. It is 8 inches to the
underside of the front bumper (at roughly the lowest point), 10.5 inches to (the
lowest point of) the rear bumper cover, and 8.5 inches to the trunk bottom
underneath.
I guess it's a good thing that I don't drive this car in deep snow!! (It looks
like the QSW is a keeper, that's for sure!!). BTW, I have noticed that I have to
be more careful with low curbs and parking lot cement stops.
The only other thing I can think of is that maybe some Audi elves (you know... the
ones related to the Gods!!) came in the middle of the night a little while ago,
and installed a set of lowering springs on your car!! :-)
I suppose if we can't figure this out with measurements, I'll have to compare my
car side-to-side with one at the next gathering I attend.
Thanks for all your help so far.
