Lower speeds may be just making it less noticeable out the rearview. I let
someone else drive my car about 100
yards a few weeks ago (1 hour out of the shop for the alternator brushes)
and my baby doth protest by blowing
profuse amounts of black smoke and running badly. I shut her down...tapped
 the ISV...bitch slapped the intake
runners and re-started her. A voice came out from under the console
warning me not to let her be driven by
anyone else again and she's run flawlessly ever since. It may spell a
dirty ISV or some ECU weirdness that
was reset when I turned her off. I puffed big-blue only once....first time
on the track at first re-start...prolly a bit of
bad potato got loose and burnt on a valve...again, scary, but it went away.
If you've never cleaned up your ISV,
now might be the time. If you don't get it fixed soon, and she's running
rich....you might just bake the cat..and
as much as I enjoy a feline tenderloin, it's not something I can advocate
during what is clearly opossum season.

PS: If you do bake the cat I'm Avi can recommend a delightful sauce a~
