Since I bought my 87 5kq I've had a
strange problem. About 7 times out of 10, when I turn on the heat the idle will
jump up to between 1200 to 1500. Sometimes this will only last about ten minutes
and other times it will stay that way until I turn iff the climate control. When
this happens in traffic I feel like a real bozo because it looks as if I can't
drive stick. Any thoughts?
