PS groaning

Help!

I replaced the pressure side hydraulic hose last week on my 5000T
(running from pump to rack).  When turning the wheel with engine at any
speed higher than idle, I get a groaning sound, and slight vibration
through the wheel.  I can feel it when holding the line.  The new line
did not have the rubber protective cover over the line-could it be this
is for insulation?  the line was from GPR-not a dealer item-looks like
it was US made, as the hose said "3/8 ID"-I think a German made part
would have been in mm.

Has anyone ever experienced this?
