Well everyone, I'm stumped. I think that Audi must have used multiple ratios
each year and just lied for conveinience in their documentation. I come
to this conclusion by reading what some of you have in your cars &
what Audi tells me. They are two different stories and I tend to believe
those of you who have experince with your own cars.

However, my CQ is turning 3900 rpms at 80mph, surely way high relative to the optimal torque/HP sweet spot of an S2's 3B? I'm concluding that gearbox ratios are different, but in any event, Audi's got a heap of 4.11 rears they scattered about. Brandon Hull'91 CQ >Ron Wood said: |
