Re: 4KQ gearing



Other trim levels almost without a doubt had different ratios. Most S cars were
automatic (quattros excluded of course). I would expect with the awd there could
have been a uniform in final drive and rear end ratios.  But alas, what I expect
and what carmakers do are two unrelated items.
