I don't know about the US cars but the Canadian '86 and '87 4kq have 
4:11 final drive.  The only difference between my '84 and '86 is the 
fifth gear.  @ 60 mph my '84 would turn ~ 3200 rpm while the '86 does 
it @ 3000 rpm.  Rest of the gears have the same top speeds at 
redline.

I also know that all 5kq (non turbo) also had the 4:11 gears but with 
the taller 205/60 15 tires making them a little easier on the 
highway.  Still nice close ratios.
