"Blue" wastegate spring

Answer, they ran out of green paint!
Of all the springs I've seen between my 81 and 83 Urq, and my 2 5000TQs, 
there have been blue stripes, green stripes and brown stripes, not to 
mention the Day Glo on Charlie Smiths springs.  Each Audi spring has 
been virtually identical to the eye.  While I don't doubt that there 
are/were minute dimensional and resistance differences, I also don't 
doubt that this many years after manufacture, they are probably moot.  
If it's really eating at you, I can dig up the springs this weekend and 
dig for dissimilarities.
