Phil - I've got a blue-color coding on a wastegate spring, stock from a
1990 200tqw, USA model.  It's dimensions are different then yours, however:

Length - 55mm
Outer diameter - 36mm
Coil thickness - 2mm (approx)

The outer diameter is about the same as yours, but everything else is
different....sorry........SLM
