It was my understanding that the rear differential of my 90q was not
limited slip. If it is, I would be most interested in hearing about it.
Behavior in the snow is much different with the lock on, too different
for me to assume limited slip. (The differential torque that could be
generated by operating in snow would be expected to be too small to
overcome the slip torque.) While locking is automatically removed above
15 mph, this can be easily defeated, I suspect, from reviewing the
wiring diagrams. What I haven't determined, because I can't presently
test it at speed in the snow, is if defeating the speed limit is worth
the time to implement.
