Sounds like the aligment is out, too much toe-out will cause this.

Yes, there is - it's the motor itself. Either the brushes wear out or, as
the dirt accumulates inside the motor, it begins to seize. You can bring it
temporarily to life by spraying some contact cleaner and WD40 into the motor
- acces can be gained by removing the small rubber ventilation duct.
