ok, now i'd also like to get more info on this, and will endeavour to do
so over the next month (once minor details like my wedding are out of
the way)...

btw, do you accept that the locked centre will 'hunt' as well?  50% of
torque to the back, for example will vanish (0% torque) when traction is
lost (oversteer), to re-appear in a bang when it is regained.  hunting
by definition (from 0% to 50% of total torque depending upon traction).
so i'm strggling to see the difference theoritically.  the torsen will
always supply 30% to a [virtual] axle, the locked centre 50%.  am i
missing something?
