I found some Audi marketing propaganda from Audi Sport in 1988 for the
trans am cars. It attempts to show how close your new 200 is to the race
car. It lists the center diff as torsen OR viscus coupled limited slip
with torque split. And it shows the rear diff as multifriction plate
limited slip OR torsen OR viscus coupled limited slip.
So yes phil, viscus coupling is mentioned here and there in the race
efforts.
