Torsen diffs on race cars

Coming from a fixed 60/40 rear/front split system, to a 90q20v with
Torsen diff, I'm currently "anti" Torsen (though I'm willing to be
persuaded :-)
Scott's comment was interesting and, since I had a copy of the tech spec
for a '97 BTCC A4 Quattro, I checked ... those race cars *do* use a
Torsen center diff.
(BTCC= British Touring Car Campion Shop, aka Super Tourers).
I dislike my 90q20v to be SERIOUSLY considering going back to a car with
fixed 60/40 and a more torquey engine. I think I was expecting too much
from Quattro and a 2.3 20v :-(
