All Audi content, but little relevance to anyone else...

Today, February 28, 1998, marks the one year anniversary of my Audi
ownership.

In this past year I have:
1) added almost 19k (16k - 34.8k) miles to my car's odometer.
2) made quite a few friends and great acquaintances through this list (one
of which, that Royal dude, helped get me the job I have now).
3) Actually made a trip to a far away land (NH from MA!) called Mt.
Washington, at an ungodly hour,  to meet up with a bunch of other Audi
fruitloops.
4) spent more money on maintenance in one year than I have for any other
car I've ever owned, but it never bothered me even though I've improved
almost nothing.
5) spent more time in email than ever before because, well, folks are
writing back and forth about Audi's here.
6) organized a little monthly meeting, in the Metro-Boston area, so some of
the Audi hopeless can get together and interrupt Audi talk with beer.
7) rekindled a love affair with my car, the kind of which has not been seen
since my first car, an '86 VW Golf.
8) gave my wife a reason to come up with a new catch-phrase, "You know, it
IS only a car."

These are just my thoughts.
I wonder if I should take my car out to dinner, or something, for our
anniversary? I'm thinking I should have it detailed.
