More:10/10'ths In The Snow/Winter Driving Tips

#5 ABS doesn't work in reverse. Works great going forwards though. Used
it going forward down steep icy driveways. Other cars just slid down to
the bottom. The big Q crawled down nice and slow, although the brake
pedal felt like the hydrolic system was going to explode.

#6 In California they check for tire wear at the chain control stations.
(Also for tire type I would assume.) I had fairly new M+S rated tires
that definately had more than a quarter inch of tread, so they let me
go. Not a word about 4wd. Guess they knew about Q's already. :)

You'll love me for this:
What does a Torsen do in reverse? I had this thought when I drove down
to the lake. What if I came to an obstruction in the single lane road
and had to go back up the steep hill in reverse? Would the Torsen have
delivered power to the correct end of the vehicle or would I have gotten
stuck?
