Re: Error 2142 from ECU...
Just to add another silly few questions.
1) can I remove the knock sensor and drive without it until I find
a replacement?
2) bad wiring, would that be mostly that inside the engine bay?
3) can I use just a normal proper sized spanner to remove the sensor?
Do I have to put it back on at some specific torque setting?
4) can I just use a normal degreasing agent such as Kleen Green to clean
behind the sensor or clean the entire sensor?
I needed to ask #3 as I don't have a torque wrench that can handle that
workspace on the car, very awkward indeed.
