Different tire sizes on a V8 will without a doubt, destroy your rear gears in your
transmission. I've seen it happen too many times. The real sad point is a reman
tranny costs $2500.

I had some adjustment period coming from a non-torsen 5ktq to my torsen 90q. At
the time, I didn't know that this was the difference. But now I am used to the
swing to and fro over/understeer combo in mid-corner. I actually enjoy it now that
I can control it. Every night since this thread started I have been trying to push
my car to it's very limit coming off a traffic circle on my commute home. It only
gets really hairy when I'm dumb enough to take it over 50mph.
