Alternator whine

Alternator whine can come from several different things. If your car
stereo has RCAs, anywhere they cross a power wire it must cross it at 90
degrees. If you run them paralell with a power wire you will get hum.
Another way to get rid of it is to ground the amp wire to the battery.
Using non resistor plugs or metal core ignition wires also makes the
"sound" of each plug firing. You can actually hear the engine rev
through your speakers. Make sure your radio is grounded well too.
Large capacitors sold in crutchfield etc. can eliminate the whine too.
