There really is non. Just carefully spray maybe carb cleaner (more pref.
brake cleaner with no residue). I don't know about wire brushing it out.
Really, I'm just trying to not leave you hanging. I have only second hand
experience with the knock sensor and am somewhat apprehensive about giving
advice. The main thing is that it's very easy to put it on wrong (not in a
damaging way, but it just won't work right). Torque specs have to be
exact, and I figure, the socket has to be clean.  Good luck. On Tue, 3 Mar
