I am sorry to hear about your car. I am sure you're not happy about
what your friend did, but I hope he is not injured.

Where are you located? There is a local body shop here in Santa Clara
(not far from Palo Alto) that I have had excellent experience with.
It's Anderson Behel Auto Body (they do mostly Porsche, Audi, VW and
Infiniti). If you plan to spend some money to fix the car, then
this is probably the right place to go.

I don't have any actual experience with suspension repair, but I
would imagine that if your suspension is bent, it would involve
replacing the bent components (subframe, control arms, sway bar,
strut housings, etc.,), after straightening the unit body, if necessary.
Many of the suspension components can probably be sourced from salvage
yards for significant savings, provided that the used pieces are undamaged.
I guess it comes down to this: how much do you want to spend? Perhaps
it's better to spend the money on another used 4KQ?
