5kt leather seatback exchange

Good day listers!

My 85 5kt with leather seats is showing wear in the seatback bolster closest
to the front doors.  You know, the part of the seat people like to slide their
rears down while sitting down..

What I would like to do is swap the driver and passenger seatbacks. I have  
150k miles on the car and if I swap the backs that will make me happy till  
300k miles!!

These are electric seats and they LOOK symetrical. Has anyone been into the  
seats  before and done this?
