I think I recorded Tony Hill's visit to Isham on the list.

He came to find out "why the check engine light keeps coming on" and to check a 
few things out.  His problem was simple overboost, and with everything 
absolutely healthy the only suspect remained the wastegate spring.  I promised 
that I would measure mine the instant my car returned from the menders and 
fettlers, and we'd go from there.  I posted the measurements of his to the 
list, and opined that most parameters seemed ok apart from the length.
 
Yesterday, pootling slowly down Lewisham High Street, his engine 'blew'.
 
It hasn't been stripped yet, but the symptoms are rather more those of a blown 
turbo oil seal than the engine per se.
