I agree with you Phil it really is just about broken in.  I just did
some suspension and brake modifications and the OEM parts are almost
new.  The original brae pads have 20K miles left in them.  If anyone
needs some stock suspension and brake rotors from a 90 20v Quattro Sedan
give me a call.
