OXS Light on

Well, having just completed changing the timing belt, brake pressure
regulator and windsheild on my '86 4kq I was out of things to repair, so
the OXS light conveniently came on. Should I just reset and forget? For
comparison, my wife's 4k has well over 200k miles on it with the
original sensor and consistently passes smog at 1% of the limit. (Makes
you wonder about cars that don't pass). Should I pull the sensor on the
Q and see if the tip is eroded? It runs fine.
Thanks,
Wolff
