Now that would be interesting indeed...

Oh yes. Now there's an understatement. The thing is, with an aftermarket
EFI system, you are not limited to any particular hp level at all. If
your intake, turbo, head, exhaust, etc can flow the air, and you deliver
the fuel in sufficient quantities to appropriate injectors, you can make
as much power as you want. I suppose if you were to up the ante enough,
you might have a hard time finding injectors large enough, but then you
would simply use twin injectors - a bit costly, but no big deal. Lots of
folks do that already on high hp apps.

Un hunh, getting some neat toys to play with. More later.

I talked to a friend last week who runs CIS on his Golf Pro-Rally car.
He has had no trouble at all from his CIS, so he doesn't understand why I
dislike the CIS so much. I suspect that possibly the VW apps are less
problem prone than the Audi apps, but there may be something else to it.
I still believe there is tremendous potential in a good racing style EFI
system, especially considering you can eliminate the airflow meter of the
CIS. That meter is very restrictive.
