You would probably get more value from a rear SWAY bar instead of a
rear strut brace.  The two rear strut towers on the '81-'87 Coupe are
pretty solidly connected together by the metal that separates the trunk
from the passenger compartment.

Now, trying to find a rear sway bar for the FWD Coupe is another matter
entirely...nigh-on impossible, really.
