Porsche (the man) did massive amounts of consulting and design work for Audi and
some of the 4 marques that make up Audi today, especially Wanderer. See the
first three issues of Audi Driver for excellent details. This relationship continues
today (with the Porsche company) and with Porsche's grandson running the 
whole VW/Audi show now. The Porsche family bought the company back from
VW some years ago. This may not be totally 100% accurate - YMMV.
