Sounds high to me. I just bought the Bosch brush/regulator kit for my
1990 200 TQ (110 amp) and paid approximately $30. The brushes in the old
one were fine, but there was corrosion around the rivits that attach
the regulator to the brushes, so I was getting intermitant operation.
Sometimes almost 14v,other times only 11.5 -12 volts. The new unit
had a dab of epoxy over each of the rivits to hopefully minimize
corrosion. I've been able to repair the old set, so I now have a
spare.

I got the brush/regulator set from Import Parts Specialists, Inc. in
Boise, ID. They provide real fast service and are willing to look up
part numbers and quote prices on the phone any time you call. I've also
found that their prices on fan, alternator, and hydraulic pump belts are
lower than other place I've checked. Orders usually arrive in 1-2 days
here in MN. Their phone number is 1-800-897-7278 or 208-336-9925. I've
delt mostly with a person named Rick.
