Make sure that the battery you buy has at least the same CCA/AH rating as
the one that came in the car. I tried an Eveready battery from Costco that
was only $35, but it didn't have enough capacity to start the car during the
summer due to the after-run feature our cars have. I had a problem with my
after-run relay about a year before, and replaced the Audi battery with the
Eveready at that time (thinking the battery just wasn't strong enough). Once
the after-run was fixed the Eveready still didn't have enough juice to start
the car. I put the Audi battery back in and have had no problems since.
