Re: Climate control w/ a mind of its own?



The climate control on my '93 90CS worked normally (well actually it
didn't actually *work*, but that's different) until one of the dealer's
attempts to fix it.  There's some operation that they did on (I believe)
the '96 A4's that involved switching around a few wires--when they did
this, my CC did the same things yours did.  I complained to the dealer
and they put it back the way it was.
It's possible that yours was connected improperly at first and then
someone noticed it and fixed it.
