1987 5KCSTQ PROBLEM

     I have a problem I would like to ask the list about;
     
     1. When I turn the headlights on, the dash lights do not light up. 
     But, if I lift the switch very very slowly, they work fine, does 
     anyone have any advice on how to fix this problem(I replaced the 
     headlight switch, and the terminals are corrosion free).
