But they had the 'quattro' logo in the rear defroster, didn't they? When
was that discontinued anyway? I think it was with the introduction of the
'91 facelifted C4 100 and the B3 80/90 in '86 (European intro dates).

Can anyone prove me right or wrong?

BTW I still think it's a shame they took the 'quattro' out of the rear
defroster- it was a nice touch.
