Re: VG-2?
They've been legal in CT for approx 4-5 years. In VA & DC, its big $$$ --
they confiscate your detector and inform your insurance company.
You should also note that in VA, if you HAVE a radar detector within reach
of the driver (even if its off and/or unplugged) you can be fined -- so if
you're nervous about getting caught in a place where they're illegal -- put
it in the trunk.
