Re: Q45 vs. 200
OK, I can't stand it any more so here's my $.02 . I like to go out and test
drive stuff, and that has included a 300ZX non-turbo, auto and a Mitsu
3000VR4. The Datsun couldn't get out of it's own way and the handling was
so-so. The Mitsu had 20K miles on it. It was pretty fast but rattled and
generally felt like an old Chevy pickup. Handling was downright dangerous.
My step father's LS400 was OK but full of Toyota grade plastic and the
engine was weak at altitude. I tried a new Maxima a couple years ago
because it is supposed to be this great sports sedan . YECH! A few years
ago, I rented an Altima and that car is actually impressive for what it is.
Well appointed and very fun to drive. BTW, in '92 on one of my test drive
outings I tried a '91 200Q. I sold 2 cars and bought a 200Q immediately.
Now, I don't do too much test driving.
