Air intake temp sensor wiring order...

Hi!

The temp sensor was broken by Barons VW/Audi agents (so that's why
they wanted me out of the workshop so quickly!). I removed the
broken connectors on the wiring end and had to strip some of the
sealing rubber. The bend and lay of the wire suggests the wiring
order that I must follow to resolder the wires onto the intake
temp sensor's pins, but I wan't to make sure which way is correct.
There are 2 wires, one blue and one brown. The sensor is the intercooler
mounted type and not the manifold mount type (ie. 1990 200t type).
The arrangement suggests the blue wire connects to the top pin on the
sensor and the brown to the bottom one. Is that order correct? I
guess the advice is to renew the temp sensor, but can't afford it.
