New stupid question: bodywork between early 200 and A6 types...

Hi!

Silly question again. This time bodywork between the early 200 cars,
around 1990, and the 100/200/A6/RS2 from I think 92 onwards. I was
thinking a nice place to put the intercooler was below the grille, in
the fender section. That would mean one could put in a larger grille
with better air feed to an intercooler. I like the front bumper of
the RS2 avant car, really mean looking and seems to have a purpose.
Problem is that it probably would never mount onto the type-44 cars,
right? Tol' ya was a stoopid kweshin!

Anyone have a type-44 (200/5kT) with a large front bumper/spoiler
that incorporates a longer-than-stock intercooler?

Just asking now for future reference. TIA. Sorry for the wasted BW.

G.
