You need both the reference sensors working to get the ur-q going. One
is the reference mark sensor and on the ur-q flywheel marks approx 60
degree BTDC and the ECU uses this guy the begin the timing/spark cycle.
The other counts flywheel teeth so it knows where it is relative to the
ref mark sensor.
