Quattro badge identification for various models:

Information not in parenthesis are responses from listers to my Stalking
the Elusive Quattro post.  My comments (in parenthesis) are based on
various U.S.-spec catalogs.  As you'll see, these weren't always too
helpful.  I have plenty of German and other European catalogs, but
running comparisons was more than I wanted to tackle for now.  Thanks
to everyone who responded.

'84 - '87 4KQ (this one I know first-hand) - grill badge, trunk badge,
badge above glove box, rear window defroster wire, side rear quarter
windows

'86 - '88 5KQ - grill badge, trunk badge, rear window defroster wire
(sales literature confirms everything except the defroster wire which isn't
seen in nearly any catalog illustrations)

ur-q - grill badge, trunk badge, badge above glove box, rear window
defroster wire (my '83 literature shows no grill badge and doesn't show a
view of the rear - the illustration does have prominent quattro decals in
both rear side windows and a quattro badge above the glove box)

('88 & '89 80Q - quattro badges on grill, no rear view in catalogs)

('88 & '89 90Q - quattro badges on grill and trunk lid)

('89 100 & 200Q - catalog shows grill badges, rear shots are of Avants
with quattro badges)

('90 & '91 90Q - quattro badges on trunk lid, no front view in catalogs)

'90 & '91 CQ - rear window defroster wire (catalogs confirm this)

('90 & '91 100Q - catalogs show only side illustrations)

('90 200Q - catalog shows grill badges; only rear shot is of an Avant
which has a rear quattro badge)

'91 200Q - some have grill badge, some have trunk badge, all have rear
window defroster wire (catalog shows grill badge but no trunk badge)

('92 100Q - quattro badges grill and rear, rear view being an Avant)

('93-'94 100Q - quattro badges on grill, no rear views)  

('93-'94 90Q - quattro badge on trunk lid, no front views)

'90-'92 V8 - no quattro ID from factory except maybe rear window
defroster wire; quattro and V8 grill badges spec'd later (catalogs show
no badges)

('93-'94 V8 - catalogs show only side views; one view suggests there
may be a grill badge, but whether it's quattro or V8 is impossible to tell) 

S4 - S badges on grill and trunk lid, some with rear window defroster
wire, some with quattro badge on trunk lid - add-ons ('92-'94 catalogs
show S badge on grill, no rear view)

S6 - S badges on grill and trunk lid ('95 catalog shows S badge on grill,
no rear view)
