Attention Audi drivers, on Saturday April 18th we will have a driving event
that  can not be missed!  Come put your Audi through its paces climbing the
beautiful  and sinuous Angeles Crest Highway.  One of the most exhilarating
enthusiast roads in California, $B!H(BThe Crest$B!I(B starts at the base of the San
Gabriel mountains, winding and climbing through snow-capped mountain vistas
and  pine  forests  to  our brunch spot at Newcomb$B!G(Bs Ranch.  Newcomb$B!G(Bs, a
favorite  haunt for car, motorcycle, and skiing enthusiasts, was founded in
1939  and is located at 6,000 feet in cool Alpine air.  Come drive and talk
about  Audis,  eat  great  food  in  our own private den, and listen to the
incessant sound of Audi radiator fans whirring in unison.

，   Meet at Lloyds Restaurant (1004 Foothill Blvd., La Canada,
818-790-7616) between 9 am and 9:45
，   Depart up Angeles Crest Highway promptly at 10:00 am
，   Arrive at Newcomb
$B!G(Bs Ranch (818-440-1001) from 10:30-11:00, 10:15 if
you are Hans Stuck
，   Optional:  Visit Mt. Wilson Observatory, drive Angeles Crest and
Angeles Forest Highways until Dr. Ferdinand Piech calls you home

Directions:
，   Located 15 miles north of Los Angeles, Take the I-5 freeway north to
Hwy 2 North; northern residents take the 210 freeway to Hwy 2 North
，   Exit Hwy 2 on Foothill Blvd., turn right
，   Lloyds Restaurant is 1 mile down on the right hand side, at the base
of the Angeles Crest Highway.  A Union 76 and Shell station are directly
across the street
，   Meet early for fuel, coffee, and bench racing at Lloyds, depart at
10:00 am sharp
