You can unplug it @ the steering gear. The S4/S6 guys do this routinely
before the track events.

Absolutely. The A4 steering is bordering on criminally dangerous, IMO.
Yes, on the A4 I do have wide aftermarket wheels with some serious
Z-rated rubber, small Sport 3-spoke steering wheel and the 20mm lower
Sport suspension.
With all of these the A4 steering feel does not even remotely resemble
the_AWESOME_feel of my 200TQ with the 325mm steering wheel and almost
the same wheel/tire combo (MOMO/SP8000) albeit with a 20mm narrower
footprint.
