RE: Latvian "Rally" videos...

I downloaded a few of these last night and was impressed with the driving
... until I saw a Nekker knob on the steering wheel and the driver yanking
on the handbrake to get the car sideways!  Lots of fun, I'm sure, but in my
book, that's cheating!  :^)

I should have some of my Ur-Q videos up on my web page shortly after tax
season ... Mike Tipton had generously offered to digitize it for me --
thanks, Mike! -- but it turns out that my sister's next-door neighbor had
all the necessary equipment and was willing to trade for a tuneup on his VW
Golf GTi 16V.  Needless to say, it had to be thoroughly test-driven
afterwards ... I know Audi installed this motor in the Coupe body but did
any 4ks ever get it?  Might make for an interesting conversion, eh?
