speaking of sunroofs

Here's a question that's bothered me for some time -- I have the motorized
sunroof with tilt-up on my 885ksq, which works fine. However, I'm wondering
if there is supposed to be a 'stop' between the closed position and the tilt
up position. If the sunroof is open, and I hold the switch down, it will
slide all the way closed and then go right into the tilt-up (and vice
versa). I always have to look up to see if it is positioned exactly closed.
I can't imagine that that is the normal operation, but nothing else seems to
be wrong with it. As always, any info is appreciated. thanks,
