Not in Maine. As of last fall, it is illegal to use any "auxilliary light"
- including original-equipment fogs, in other than inclement weather, and
regardless, they must be extinguished when meeting oncoming traffic. I was
stopped one night and "educated" (no ticket). Thank heavens the Audi
(unlike my old Eclipse) has a light to remind me the fogs are on.
