No more than a fluid ounce or so.
It's coming to look like the accumulator, isn't it? Anyone had one go
bad?

Yup, I have on my 83 ur-q. Mine happened to be leaking at the crimp
joint on the case. It was wet and sometimes dripped onto the garage
floor. Changed it and everything works great, good hot starts, etc.
Simple to change, like a fuel filter, but the cost was >$100 US.
HTH.
