urq Trunk shocks was: 93 Audi 100 trunk lift shocks

A month or more ago, the rear deck lid (boot to you Englishmen) fell on my
head while I was removing the last items for a track event. It nearly
knocked me out!

I had 4 other shocks from previous parts cars, so I installed those
temporarily. The used ones worked better, but were perfect so I ordered a
set from IPC (Rod) for $56. This included shipping to me.

The install took 5 minutes or less. What a difference! The trunk lid now
will stay up in a position in the opening / closing arc.

I recommend that any urq/coupe owners whose lid won't stay up in any
position, replace them. The urq trunk lid struts are part# 855827552G
