The 7 x 15"s are TSW Hockenheims. I got 'em from Discount Tire...I haven't
the foggiest idea what the offsets are (somewhere in the 10-40 range?), I
relied on them to supply the correct application. With 215-50/15s, the
rubbing is minimal, but still there under hard cornering (I haven't bothered
to roll the well openings-- it's not terribly rough). If the car wasn't
lowered (1.33" in front, 1" in rear), I doubt there would be much contact at
all.

Check this out -- Sears aligned the car (a good alignment considering the
springs, 2nd time there, tho)and rotated the tires. About 50 miles later, the
L/F wheel lugs loosened, and almost came off! At 65 mph...BUT the center cap
thingy saved the lug bolts, and I retorqued before the wheel before disaster
struck...SO Alway retorque yer wheels after some impact-wrench-impaired person
has been there.

Dave, as a data point could you tell us more about your wheels, brand,
model, width and offset?
