Daves (lug) Nuts...



Damn good point, Dave !!! I used to work at NTW (Sears Group) a few years back
and here is a tip from experience....~

NEVER EVER, EVER let someone use an impact wrench on custom rims. The tech
will tell you that he is using a "torque stick" to put them on and
overtightening or undertightening is impossible. This is correct in theory,
but it has a bit more to do with how easily the german combined lug nut/bolts
can be cross-threaded. And if your rims are stock and you allow them to use
torque sticks on your car, make sure that the one that they are using is RED !
(They're color coded.)
